  1. Dude, this podcast really helped build my confidence. I listen to this podcast at least 2-3 times a week to help build my confidence. I love the “cape walk” and the “fake it til you make it” ideas. I utilize them everyday.

  2. The cape walk is by far a powerful walk, it’s not so much a strut as it is just a confident walk. I hate to say this but I am learning that i need more confident friends who will back me and wing me right, my current friends have screwed my game every time already with little comments about things they should never say like video game comments or cutting me down in front of the target and lowering my value. Im big on my friends hell they have been my best friends for 5-13 years but i cant rely on them to wing ya know.

  3. Thumbs,

This is a sad realization that a lot of people will have to deal with. I used to be in the exact situation with a group of my friends. I tried to be nice about it and ask them to lay off, explaining my reasons clearly. This only egged them on, which I’m sure it has or will with your friends.

I was lucky enough to have a few groups of friends, the others were more understanding and were also looking to meet girls. See, if these guys really wanted to be a friend, they would try and help you meet girls. Talk you up to them.

The act of guys putting their friends down and telling stories to embarrass each other is just stupid and childish. The only result is that you all look like losers.

If you really want to grow, you will have to move on and at least temporarily look for new or other positive friends who are good for you. Not just to meet girls, but to feel better about yourself. Don’t get held back by your friends!

“The people you hang around with will heavily influence the person you become”

But don’t worry, once you begin to grow, things will change and your friends will notice this and probably respect you more in the long run anyway.

I agree with that, thats how i percieve my friends sometimes, sure sometimes its a joke, but even if its serious (talking to a target), they ruin my game big time..

This is really ture, although there are many articles on this, you don’t need to be smart to figure this out. Actually i read on the newspaper today that us, human beings, have heavy influence with each other..very passive beings.
If you yawn, the other person yawns, even though they’re not sleepy, its the same thing when it comes to smiling :D.
