A man’s best friend is no longer a dog. These days, in a society driven by image, accessories are a fella’s best comrade.

With the standards for men’s fashion reaching the same heights as women, males need to be aware of current trends, start hitting the malls regularly and dressing the part of the modern day man.

If that doesn’t sound like your cup-o-tea, but still want to look up-to-date, this is where accessories and the Internet step in. Malls, with their large crowds and cookie cutter looks, can be suffocating and intimidating; especially if you are not stylishly inclined.

If you are a man, stores as well as their retail associates will often take advantage of men’s fashion ignorance. The solution? Go to Amazon.com and purchase some panache trimmings.If you are a T-shirt and jeans guy adding a stylish accessory or two is the easiest way to add the flare you need to keep your appearance in vogue and by shopping online you get to eliminate the tedious mall experience.An addition to a plain outfit is a straw fedora hat or Peter’s Grimm driver’s cap. A smart hat is the quickest way to up your style quotient. Amazon also has some masculine jewelry to compliment your hat.A few things to remember when wearing jewelry is keep it unfussy, unique and masculine. Never wear yellow gold, do not over accessorize and piercings of any kind are outdated. Leave the earrings to the ladies.You can, however, wear simple rings, chains and charms made of interesting metals, white gold or silver. And don’t forget about the classic cufflink.
